It's hard to say at what point in my life I felt the passion to bake. But I am sure that most of my inspiration came from hanging out in my mother's kitchen watching her bake her famous Chocolate Chip cookies, Chocolate cakes and pies. When she baked bread we were always there to help mix the dough. The smells that I remember growing up were always fantastic. Mom always boasted that she taught all her kids how to bake. 

But it wasn't untill I grew up and became a Graphic Designer that I realized that baking was more than just mixing some ingrediants together and putting them in the oven. It was an art form that takes time and experience to nurture. 

When I make my creations–whether they come from an existing recipe, from my mom's old recipes or something I just decided to create–they are done with all the passion I learned from mom as a kid.
